1. Prohibited content
- Material that infringes intellectual-property rights or violates a third party’s privacy.
- Sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that sexualizes real people without consent.
- Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, hate speech or incites violence against protected groups.
- Disinformation campaigns, election interference, deepfakes designed to deceive.
- Regulated products and services without proper licensing (firearms, controlled substances, gambling, financial advice).
2. Prohibited activities
- Sending unsolicited bulk email, SMS or messaging (spam) via Scale Metrics-hosted assets.
- Black-hat SEO: link farms, parasite hosting, cloaking, automated mass keyword stuffing.
- Generating reviews, testimonials, ratings or engagement that misrepresent authenticity.
- Phishing, credential harvesting, malware distribution.
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass rate limits, paywalls or authentication.
- Reverse-engineering, scraping or rehosting the Scale Metrics platform for a competing service.
3. AI usage
When using AI-assisted features you remain responsible for the inputs you supply and the outputs you publish. Do not upload personal data of others without a lawful basis, and do not use AI features to generate the content listed in section 1.
4. Security research
Good-faith vulnerability research is welcomed. Please follow our coordinated-disclosure process at [email protected] and do not exfiltrate data, degrade service for other users or test on production accounts that are not your own.
5. Enforcement
Violations may result in content removal, feature throttling, account suspension or termination, forfeiture of credits associated with the violating activity, and referral to law enforcement when required. Where possible we provide notice and an opportunity to cure; serious or repeated violations may be acted on immediately.
6. Reporting abuse
Report suspected violations to [email protected]. We acknowledge reports within 1 business day.
